Routes and schedules of some minibuses to change as of December 22

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that as of December 22 changes will be made in schedules, routes and location of terminals of several minibuses. These changes are made, based on the proposals of minibus company "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme", passenger flow measurements and local residents’ proposals.

Taking account of passenger flow measurements and proposals of local residents, new workday and holiday schedules will be introduced as of December 22 on minibus routes No. 200, 208, 222, 224 and 236. As of December 22 there will be a new schedule for all days on minibus route No 214, but Saturday and Sunday schedule of minibus route No. 233 will change as of December 24.

As of December 22, there will be changes in the route of minibus No. 208, which will now run by the route „Bus station – Pļavnieki”. On the way to the city centre, the minibuses will run in A.Saharova Street, A.Deglava Street, Tallinas Street, A.Čaka Street, Marijas Street, 13^th January Street, Gogoļa Street, Turgeņeva Street, Maskavas Street, Centrāltirgus Street, Prāgas Street. On the way back to Pļavnieki, the minibuses will run in Prāgas Street, 13^th January Street, Marijas Street, Satekles Street, Elizabetes Street, E.Birznieka-Upīša Street, Lāčplēša Street, Avotu Street, A.Deglava Street, A.Saharova Street. The workday and holiday schedules of this route will be also changed accordingly.

As of December 22, there will be changes in the route of minibus No.271 „Pauls Stradiņš hospital – hospital „Linezers””, yet its schedule will remain unchanged. The minibuses will run from P.Stradiņš hospital in Pilsoņu Street, Liepājas Street, Mārupes Street, Bāriņu Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across AkmensBridge, on the 11^th November Embankment, in the 13^th January Street, Marijas Street, Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Brīvības gatve, Dzērbenes Street to hospital „Linezers”. From hospital „Linezers” the minibuses will run in Linezera Street, Dzērbenes Street, Brīvības gatve, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, 13^th January Street, on the 11^th November Embankment, across AkmensBridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Bāriņu Street, Mārupes Street, Tukuma Street, Pilsoņu Street to P.Stradiņš hospital.
